The VeriTrace Asset & Fleet Management Software was designed from the outset to be easy to use and yet to deliver key asset and fleet management information designed to remove the leap of faith from business critical decisions.

The software includes a summary of activities, worldwide digital and satellite mapping, a compete listing of all assets operated with last location information, location management, asset and user type and group management and the facility to generate reports, online, download these immediately or schedule the reports for regular delivery by email to any number of email addresses.

Geofence location breaches, temperature, door and other sensor exceptions can be set for alert by email or SMS Text Message to any number of users.

Mapping

Digital Maps
Digital Mapping

Using the latest digital mapping, assets are located on the maps right down to street level. The location is further identified based on over 2 million Geonames and Waypoints worldwide. The maps can be zoomed from street level to global views. You can also dynamically select any region on the map by dragging your mouse to define the area to be viewed.

Assets are shown by way of pins on the maps. When you place the mouse pointer over a pin, details of the assets. such as the tracking device number, asset name, location name (waypoint) and the distance there from, as well as the date and time of the last report are shown in a pull out. Where more than one asset is in the same location the pull out lists the details of all assets at the selected location.

By clicking on the pin identifying the last location for a specific asset you are able to view a street level map of that location and links to the asset's location history trail. The mapping software also includes a set of filters enabling users to select map size, map type, switch the visibility of assets on or off by asset name and defined location as well as by type and group of asset.

The Assets Listing Page consists of a table containing a list of all of the customers assets. Each column in the table can be switched on or off by simply ticking the a check box in the list view filter.

Each column header is sortable by clicking on the header row to sort the column and the list corresponding to the column sorted.

These features enable you to view all of the data in a format best suited to your role as a user. A separate filter set enables a search by ESN ( the unique number of the tracking device fitted to the asset), and by type and or group.

Elements of the text in the columns are clickable and link to other information sets containing greater detail. Users can for instance simply click on "Add Location" against each asset and be taken straight to the New Location Set Up Page.

The Asset Setup Page enables the customer to add, delete and manage the portal functionality in relation to individual assets or vehicles.

  • Designate the asset type and group

The Location manager provides a view of all assets at any pre-defined customer depot. Locations are set up with ease and the location is viewable on either Digital or Satellite Maps. All assets within a given customer specified radius of the defined location are visible on the map as pins.

Rolling the mouse pointer over the pins triggers a listing of individual or groups of assets at the location with details of the asset name, type and group as well as the last report date and time.

The customer can use the account manager to define user specific time zones, add and delete User Groups and Users and assign access and usage rights by role to individual users by secure username and password

Customers can schedule any of the reports available to be delivered as attachments in Microsoft Exel format to any number of recipients by email at easily definable intervals. The same report can also be generated and viewed online in Microsoft Excel format provided that the PC used has the commensurate Microsoft Office software installed.
